Books for Native American Heritage Month

To my North American readers: Unless your ancestors were Native Americans — people indigenous to this land — or enslaved people — kidnapped from their homeland and brought to this continent against their will — you are the descendant of immigrants. I recommend the following books during Native American Heritage month (November) to learn more about the people that first inhabited Turtle Island.
